For the past seven years, I have been a single mom based in Magnolia Texas, working hard to build my career while raising my son and creating a life we could be proud of. Today, I am part of a blended family, and between my boyfriend and me, we have four kids who keep life busy, loud, messy, and full of memories.
I work full time in oil and gas sales, and I truly love what I do. My career is an important part of who I am, and I am incredibly grateful for the opportunities, relationships, and experiences it has given me. I have worked hard to build my career and have made many sacrifices along the way to provide for my family and create a better future for my son.
I am also very fortunate to have an amazing boss who has supported me and made my work experience so meaningful. I genuinely enjoy my job, the people I work with, and still have so much more to accomplish.
At the same time, I have always had a little voice in the back of my mind telling me that I wanted to build something of my own, too. Not because I want to replace my career, but because I wanted to create something personal that could grow alongside the life I already love.
Over the years, I have tried different things. I have always loved photography and even turned it into a small business for a while. But as life and work became busier, photography started taking me away from my family more than I wanted. Something I once loved began to feel like another responsibility, so I decided to step back and keep photography as something I enjoy for friends and family.
I still wanted something that was mine.
Something flexible.
Something I could work on during the little pockets of time life gives me, during a sports game, after the kids go to bed, or whenever I simply have a few minutes to myself.
That is how The Cozy Chaos Co. was born.
What started as an idea has quickly become something I genuinely look forward to. I get to search for things I love, create something fun, and build a little piece of our future along the way, all while continuing to enjoy the career I have worked so hard to build.
My hope is that The Cozy Chaos Co. can become more than just an online shop. I want it to help me build something lasting for my family, whether that means putting money toward a home, helping with my son’s college someday, paying something off, or simply creating a little more financial freedom for our future.
We have sacrificed a lot to get where we are today, and I am incredibly proud of how far we have come. I am also proud that I can continue growing in a career I love while creating something new that reflects my personality, my family, and the beautiful chaos of our everyday lives.
